About Me: February 2007
Hi this is Kelly Marren, thank you for visiting my website. I built this website to let my sponsors, friends, family, school and others learn more about me.
I am 16 years old and currently reside in Hillsborough, CA, a town just outside San Francisco. This past winter I have traveled to numerous locations across the globe chasing my dream of becoming a pro snowboarder. I started out in Breckenridge, CO to get some good pipe training in and then traveled to Switzerland for the Burton European Open. I was up in Mt. Bachelor for a couple weeks competing in the Grand Prix and Revolution Tour. Luckily, the USASA National Championships were in Lake Tahoe, so I got to compete close to home and avoid jet lag and hotels and received home cooked meals on contest nights. Lastly I was invited to the All American Team and traveled with them to Switzerland (for the second tome of the season) for the Swiss Nationals and Junior Nationals.
Aside from all this snowboarding, training and travel, I am very focused on my schoolwork and growing my education. I am very thankful and lucky to have attended a school that supports my goals and dreams. When not studying and attending school, I enjoy playing soccer, wakeboarding, and hanging with my family and friends.
